1. Build up a bank of imagery

For example, if you are a business selling a range of products such as clothing, cosmetic or anything really, take a day to have some kind of ‘photoshoot’. Set up a nice background and create some content! Posting these on your Instagram feed with an attractive caption is a great way to advertise your products and you’ll start to notice your sales scale.

2. Have a list of relevant hashtags

When posting on Instagram, using hashtags at the end of a caption is a great way to tag specific topics to your posts, making it easy for users to find content that is relevant to them and engage. Hashtags definitely play apart in increasing engagement, using trending hashtags will help your posts reach a much larger audience.



3. Post consistent stories

In your stories you try include content that is relatable to your brand, use engagement stickers, set up a poll or a quiz or even things as simple as starting up a conversation with your followers.



4. Be responsive

There is no point in setting up an Instagram account if you aren’t going to interact with your audience. Make sure you respond to DMs, reply to comments and leave comments and likes on other accounts too. ​​The more you interact and are social with other accounts and businesses the more engagement you will receive on your own profile.
